We are seeking an experienced and innovative IoT/IT Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure and overseeing the deployment and maintenance of IoT devices within a smart buildings. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to facilitate internal communication to understand and meet the organization's technology needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Oversee IoT Device Deployment: Supervise the implementation and integration of IoT devices within smart buildings, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality.
- Ensure System Security: Develop and implement security protocols to protect IT systems and IoT devices from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate Internal Communication: Act as the liaison between IT and other departments to understand and fulfill their technology needs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for seamless IT operations and IoT device integration.
- Lead IT and IoT Projects: Manage IT and IoT projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with stakeholders to meet project goals and deliverables within established timelines and budgets.
Must Have
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers. Proficiency in IoT technologies and their integration with existing IT systems.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage IT and IoT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Security and Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards. Experience in implementing security protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data from IoT devices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate internal communication and collaboration. Ability to act as a liaison between IT and other departments to understand and fulfill their technology needs.
Nice to have
- Experience with Smart Building Technologies: Familiarity with advanced smart building systems, such as energy management systems, HVAC controls, and intelligent lighting systems.
- Certifications:
Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Aruba Certified Network Professional, or Internet of Things (IoT) certifications.
- Vendor Management Skills: Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
- Speaking perfect Dutch, French & English
