Responsibility
- Designing and implementing network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including performance problems and outages.
- Monitoring network performance and security, and implementing measures to optimize and protect the network.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in networking technologies and strategies.
- Providing technical support and guidance to other members of the IT team and to users of the network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Several years of professional experience as a network engineer or specialist.
- English & Dutch
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with a team and with users of the network.
Nice to have
- Certification from a recognized industry organization, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS).
- Experience with scripting or programming languages, such as Python or Java, to automate network tasks.
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
